LIST LEGEND, RATIOS & RATINGSI've put this page together to help you navigate my list and understand the method to my madness. Please note that I will NOT list any shows as NFT. If you list shows as NFT that is fine, but if I get a show I will not list it as NFT. I'll list it as URT or RT.
IMPORTANT INFO:RT: Rare Trade Only – will only trade for another rare show of the same format/size. (DVD for DVD, HD for HD, BD25 for BD25, BD50 for BD50) In some cases the rare trade may only be for the same band. This will be indicated on the list in the info page.
URT: UNCIRCULATED RARE TRADE ONLY - Will only trade for another show that is completely uncirculated or an uncirculated master, preferably of the same band, but does not always have to be. Please do not ask for one of these shows unless you have uncirculated masters or shows.
HDD#: This is a reference for me to know what hard drive the show is on. Please include it in your wants list.
MEDIA:DVD: This refers to a DVD5. Typically they are about 4.3GB max in size.
DL-DVD: This refers to a DVD9 or a dual layer DVD.
HD: This refers to a HD video that has a resolution of at least 720p.
BD25: This refers to a single layer blu-ray 25GB or less.
BD50: This refers to a dual layer blu-ray 25-50GB.
4K: This refers to a 4K VIDEO @ 2160p.
AVI: Self explanatory. I typically try to stay away from lossy AVI stuff, but there are some masters that have been released that are in AVI format.
MOV: Self explanatory.
MP4: Self explanatory. Some MP4 shows I have are HD shows, so they maybe listed as HD.
MPG: Self explanatory.
SOURCES:1stGEN: 1st generation.
2ndGEN: 2nd generation.
3rdGEN: 3rd generation.
MA: Master or from the master source.
LOW: Low generation. By the looks of the show I believe it is a low generation show.
MID: Mid generation. By the looks of the show I believe this show to be a mid gen show.
HIGH: High generation. I believe this show to be a highly generated.
Hi8-MA: Hi8 MASTER.
DIG8-MA: Digital8 MASTER.
VHS-TRAN: VHS Transfer.
UNK: The information of this show is unknown to me or I could not really determine what generation it might be (low, mid or high).
RATIOS:2 : 1 = BD25 to BD50 / BD25 to 2BD25 / DVD to DL-DVD
3 : 1 = DVD to BD25
4 : 1 = DVD to BD50
1 : 1 = HD Video of equal size / DVD to DVD / DL-DVD to DL-DVD / BD25 to BD25 / BD50 to BD50
I will trade HD shows for other shows of equal size. So if the HD show is 20GB then I have no problem in trading it for a blu-ray that is around 20GB as well.
RATINGS:I can be somewhat critical on show ratings (or so I'm told...). So take the ratings with a grain of salt. Ratings are very subjective, so keep this in mind. Also if you are a filmer this is not an attack, so can the angry emails about how wonderful your show is. As I said previously I AM VERY CRITICAL IN RATINGS!
10: Excellent show! Absolutely perfect! In most cases this will be a pro-shot. Rarely do I rate an audience filmed show as a 10.
9: Still a great looking & sounding show. There maybe a few minor flaws.
8: This will also be a great sounding & looking show, but there maybe a few more flaws than a 9. There also maybe some shaky camera movements.
7: There are more noticable flaws in this show, but overall its has a pretty clear picture & sound. There will be some camera shaking and possibly other issues.
6: This show maybe a little dark, there may be much more camera shaking around and there maybe some blurring from time to time.
5: Now we are getting into the person who filmed this from the pit as they were hopping around......or at least it looks & sounds like it. There may be obstructed views such as heads, hands, feet(?), etc. in the way at times.
4: Most likely extremely dark or it looks like the filmer is starting to have a seizure.
3: Its hard to make out the stage, band members, etc because this show is so dark or you are getting nothing but views of other fans body parts.
2: What the fuck is the filmer doing? Difficult to watch & listen to.
1: Filmer should not give up their day job as this is absolute trash.
